Before You Order Custom Slippers: Five Things to Confirm

Custom slippers fail on details, not on ideas. These are the five decisions worth settling before sampling starts.

Every custom order that goes wrong goes wrong on one of these five points. Settling them early costs nothing; settling them late costs a production run.

  1. Size range — which sizes, and how the carton ratio should be split between them.
  2. Sole construction — TPR, rubber or fabric, and whether it needs to be anti-slip on wet tile.
  3. Colour reference — a Pantone number or a physical swatch, never a screen photo.
  4. Branding method — woven label, print or embroidery, and where exactly it sits.
  5. Packing — polybag, printed box or gift set, and whether barcodes need to be applied at the factory.

Answer those five and the sample round usually takes one pass instead of three.
